Roles & Responsibilities
This is the team tasked to continually seek God and His heart for Ambrose House, Hotel and Cafe.
Main responsibilities: - Dedicated to own and each other's spiritual health and growth - Setting the vision and direction for the House, Cafe and Hotel - Develop procedures to ensure cohesion between the House, Cafe and Hotel - Ratify projects and development of Ambrose based on financial projections & budgeting (data provided by accountant) - Attend to the general well-being of Ambrose residents and staff by being sensitive to the group's and the individual's pulse
Ministers who are dedicated to provide regular discipleship/mentorship for Ambrose residents.
Person or team tasked with concretizing the vision/direction set by the directors.
The Manager is reponsible for business development of the Cafe & the Hotel whilst partnering with the rest of the Ambrose House ministry team to ensure that the business operations align with Ambrose House values. Responsibilities: - Develop business strategies and projections (with of Directors' approval) - Manages human resources & hiring (with Directors' approval) - Product development, determining menu and pricing - Set salaries - Draft agreements between business partnerships
Person or team managing the daily logistics and carrying out all necessary procedures for the smooth running of the businesses.
Main responsibilities: - Oversee operations in both hotel and cafe - Enforce all business procedures in place and help with operational development - Train new employees - Set and maintain customer service standards and handle complaints - Take all guest & staff feedback and redirect to Manager or Directors
Team member who oversees and manages projects with specific goals & fixed timelines determined by Directors & Manager.
Main responsibilities: - Help determine framework once Managers and Directors delegate a project (strategies to reach the goal and who to involve) - Training, scheduling and meeting with the project team - Is the intermediary between project team and Manager & Directors - Respect project budget and timeframe - Maintain communication throughout the project with all parties involved
Team member who makes sure the hotel rooms are up to standard for a check-in.
Main responsibilities: - Receives delegation from Assistant & Project Managers - Makes sure the rooms is ready on time for next check-ins - Be knowledgeable about all logistics surrounding the hotel, which can be found on the Wiki (inbox, Preno, rates, handling of guests' requests/complaints, hotel policies, etc) - Is responsible for the cleaning schedule
Team member who is the first contact of Ambrose for all guests walking through the front door.
Main responsibilities: - Opens and closes the Cafe/lobby area - Welcomes and attends to all guests coming into Ambrose - Knows and is able to serve all the items on the Cafe menu - Knows how to use Preno, knows hotel policies, provide rates, and make a direct booking - Handles the cleaning schedule for the Cafe, as described in the Wiki
