Moneris: Refunds
From Moneris/credit Machine 1. Press the concentric black circle button 2. Enter password: 8384 and press OK 3. Enter standalone mode (last icon on display) 4. Click on Transactions —> Refund 5. Enter refund amount 6. From the merchant copy receipt, type in the Auth# (click on the type box to enter the alphabet) 7. Give the machine back to the customer ***if trying the refund process, after the last step or the practice make sure to click the circle button again and click on the Semi-Integrated option to connect the machine back to lightspeed No receipt:( From the main menu) 1)Reprint 2)Search for receipt 3)Enter last 4 digits
Moneris: Standalone
Standalone mode is needed when Lightspeed cannot be used to charge the customer. From Moneris/credit Machine 1. Press the concentric black circle button 2. Enter password: 8384 and press OK 3. Enter standalone mode (last icon on dislpay) 4. Click on Transactions —> Purchase 5. Enter purchase amount (total + 14.975%) 6. Give the machine back to the customer After the last step or the practice make sure to click the circle button again and click on the Semi-Integrated option to connect the machine back to lightspeed. Might need to restart the Moneris terminal.
How to make keycards
Press any key to open Kaba machine; Password is 8384; Enter room number for which keycards need to be made; Enter the number of nights guests are staying; Select "New" to cancel all previous cards for the room in question; OR Select "Duplicate" to make an extra card for the room in question. Press "Enter"; Put cards, one at a time, on the magnetizer until the display says "Success".
